WAR & PEACE

This collaborative project was the response of a creative community to the terrorist attacks on 11 September 2001. The outgrowth of discussions at The D-Word, this collection of short documentaries reflects the voices of filmmakers from around the world.

Streamed on the web, WAR & PEACE was launched at the International Documentary Festival Amsterdam 2001 with several pieces that capture the aftermath of the attacks.

The world's biggest beer festival starts 11 days after 11 September 2001. They fight about the right to party. They live with security scares. On the last night of the fest, Ben followed a police patrol at the very time when the first bombs were being dropped in Afghanistan.
